At IGotThis.fit we recognize that anyone can embark on a journey of becoming fit and healthy. We love that! Some have the motivation, dedication and ability to begin and maintain a lifelong commitment to their health. We commend you!
We also know that unless you are very focused and disciplined, this journey can require countless hours of personal research and a lot of trial and error (and sometimes injury). We encourage all of our clients to become independent, knowledgeable and vigilant when it comes to their overall well-being.
Good Personal Trainers, like all other professionals, spend a great deal of time continuing their education through varied resources so that they can ensure they are knowledgeable on the latest research and health news. We know that not everyone has the time to set aside to design their own effective training plans and give the utmost attention to their nutrition at all times. Life gets busy and your trainer is your partner in your health. It definitely gives you a sense of peace of mind to know that you have someone that is looking out for you and someone you can turn to when you get sidetracked by life’s distractions.
Your trainer is an expert and a specialist in their field. They have the ability to assess you to determine what areas need to be addressed (i.e. posture, core, muscle imbalances etc.) in addition to what your specific goals may be. They will set S.M.A.R.T. goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, & Timely) so that you have the ability to succeed.
Effective personal trainers look at the individual needs of each client and will work diligently to ensure you use proper form and execution. They will also educate, motivate, and empower you so that you become confident, which in turn, builds self esteem in the gym and in every aspect of your life. You walk taller and feel stronger when you are on the right track!
Essentially, your trainer is equipped to ensure that you reach your goal in a safe effective way. They hold you accountable and they partner with you to help you live a healthy fit life.
Dependent upon your goals and needs, a typical plan will start with at least 8 weeks, usually meeting 2 or 3 times per week. Your trainer will have an initial consultation with you to determine what plan best suits your needs. All training plans are specifically tailored to the individual client and your trainer will offer assessments at different stages to ensure that you are on the right path.
After you have completed your training, it is completely up to you whether or not you want to continue with the same training schedule. Our goal is not necessarily client retention, although we love to continue to work with our clients on a weekly basis!
Since this can sometimes be a big question for some people, we want you to know that we are here to educate and empower you on a lifelong journey of wellness. Our goal is to create independence for you so that you can embark on this journey fully aware and knowledgeable on what it takes to live your best fit life!
We are based in Charlotte, NC and Atlanta, GA. Our primary location in Charlotte is at the IGotThis.fit studio located in the Ballantyne area. We also work with clients in various locations throughout Ballantyne, Matthews, and South Charlotte.
In addition to Charlotte, we are located in Atlanta. Our primary areas include Brookhaven, Buckhead, and Sandy Springs.

We love children and we understand the varying situations where it may be difficult to take time for yourself.
The ideal training scenario is specifically focused one-on-one time between you and your trainer. To receive all of the benefits and attention of your training, we prefer that children have an alternate means of care during your session.
We understand that each situation is unique and we would be happy to discuss this should the need arise.
